The Clyde is an iconic pub at the heart of Carlton serving hearty, wholesome pub fare with a modern twist, and a wide selection of great brews and is one of the Blacks’ three Principal Partners in 2017.
For a warm and friendly atmosphere, you can’t go past the Clyde. Come in to watch your football team, bring your friends for a meal before a movie, or come along and listen to some jazz on a Sunday afternoon. Whatever your occasion, the Clyde is the spot.
Since its birth in the late eighteen hundreds, the Clyde has been a hub of Carlton’s sporting life. From old classics like cricket and football to new-age hits like the AFLW and lacrosse, the Clyde is very proud of all our sporting clubs.
The Clyde has been sponsoring the Blacks for over 25 years. The front bar, lined with photographs of premiers past and present, has seen innumerable celebrations and commiserations. We’re happy to give some of the credit for the club’s recent success to our close relationship with the Clyde.
The Uni Blacks are proud of this partnership and thank them for their continued support in 2017. This ranges from holding our weekly Thursday night dinners in the front bar to hosting numerous post-game functions throughout the season.
We encourage all Blacks’ supporters to sample the Clyde’s hospitality at some stage throughout the season and reward them for their continued support of the club.
