UNDER 19’s @ UNI BLACKS
The Under 19’s play in Division 1 of the VAFA U19 competition - known as the Premier division and the highest standard of U19 footy in the state (5 divisions in total).
If you are studying in or around Melbourne in 2010 and keen to play the highest standard of U19 football, keen to meet a fine collection of young men and prepared to have a great time, then look no further Uni Blacks is the place to be in 2010.
Uni Blacks U19 is an exciting place to play football surrounded by great people, support staff and a dedicated U19 committee led by past premiership player Adrian Goonan.
To be eligible you must be 19 years old or younger as of the 30th June this year.
- Experienced, passionate and dedicated under 19’s coaching staff (ex. Seniors blacks players)
- Access to senior coaching staff headed by Senior coach Marc Woolnough (ex. Geelong player & St Mary’s GFL Premiership coach 2008) supported by director of coaching David Parkin
- First class medical support, access to professional doctors, physio’s & myotherapists
- Outstanding facilities and home ground at Melbourne University, access to gym, pool, spinning, boxing, athletics track, hockey pitch complement the outstanding University Main Oval
- Regular games at Optus Oval (Princes Park)
- Established player welfare group to assist and support players during their studies and professional development
- Mentor program to provide a valuable link between the younger players and the senior group
- A club renowned for its great culture, attracting fine young men from all over Australia
