Passing of Marc Marsden

We advise of the death after a long illness of Marc Marsden. When the MUFC instituted life membership in 1970 Marc's was the first awarded. That says it all about Marc's contribution as a player, secretary, president and friend over many decades to the Blacks, Reds and the MUFC.

A wake for Marc will be held at the North Fitzroy Bowling Club in St Georges Rd (next to Brunswick St Oval) from 3.00-5.00pm next Friday, September 5.

One man who will regret not attending the wake will be Blacks No 1 member Jack Clancy, who's stellar service paralleled Marc's. Jack had a running repairs operation last Friday and will remain in Cabrini for approximately another week. All at the Blacks wish Jack a speedy recovery.
