Justin Gray takes over as Blacks Chairman

One of Blacks' greatest servants, life member Justin Gray, has become chairman, replacing Ray Wilson, who held the post for seven years.

Justin has done it all during almost 30 years of involvement - player, premiership Reserves coach, Under 19's coach, club secretary, and numerous lesser roles. His revitalization of the Under 19's, which saw us move from the third level to the top Premier section during his stewardship from 2005 to 2007, is the latest example of his energy and talent.

Ray Wilson is not stepping away. In keeping with the increasing intensity of managing a top Amateur club, there will be a division of Ray's old responsibilities. Ray will continue as the board member heading player welfare, recruiting, past player involvement and assist with major events. Justin will control or delegate all VAFA and MU Sport matters, the football department and the day to day operations of the club.
