Huw Lacey Captains The Big V To Victory

Huw Lacey captained the Victorian VAFA Under 23 Team to an emphatic 70 point win against South Australia on Saturday (19 July 2008).

Incredibly this is the fourth time Huw has represented Victoria in the AAFC Championship. He has also been selected twice in the U23 All-Australian Team, which included a tour of Ireland in 2005.

In a high quality game in windy conditions at the Junction Oval, it was the third quarter that proved the difference with the Vics pilling on 7 goals to 1 into a strong breeze to take the game away from the Croweaters.
