Andy Donald named as Life Member of the Blacks

After 30 years of service to the club, Andy “Dons” Donald was presented with Life Membership to a standing ovation at the annual Blacks Presentation Night at the Naval & Military Club on 26 September.

Andy is currently a member of the board of both the Blacks and the MUFC and also the Blacks tribunal co-ordinator. He has also previously held numerous positions within the club, including:

• Secretary
• Registrations Secretary
• Team Manager
• Reserves Umpire
• Boundary Umpire
• Goal Umpire
• Canteen Manager

Andy continually tells people his playing career was “plagued by a lack of ability and pea ticker” but his contribution to the club over the last 30 years (over good times and bad) has been enourmous. Thanks Andy.
