MATCH REPORT. was done at late notice and in very short time
Big milestones set for big games and May the 29th was no exception. The stage was set. The 100 gamer House of Prowse and 50 gamer goal sneak griggy had the football gods throwing them a little ray of sunshine in the shape of one of the best clubbies teams ever to be slapped on the magnet board. With famous backline names like P Barry, Fish80 and Super porn star Peter north, losing was not an option.
I think from the outset a team that has, in the past, made pre game warm up something that you would expect to see rarely has some serious issues with motivation.
Never the less, Marto announcing him self on the emails as a bit of a prick, K. Rudd could not have said it better himself, gave the boys a good serve, warning us not to take the game lightly and to earn our spots on the team. The speech worked well and the boys got on the board early, the ball not even going in the opposition half.
This was thanks mainly to Fish80 running rampant like a scrub bull on the prowl. He knocked through just about every player looking for his prize catch, however realising he'd have a better chance looking up on far norths tablelands; he retired from the game and had a shower to calm himself down. Much could be said about our other great Pat Barry who couldnt handle the heat that was being thrown around by 100 gamer prowse and also decided to have a cool down with Fish.
Come the 3rd quarter, the margin had stretched out considerably. There was no half time blast from coach merls and skipper matty mcinnes usually plentiful with quarter time words could only tell the team to keep going.
The game got pretty lop sided at this stage and the Prahran boys in the back line, I am told, in a rare event, instead of marvelling at Willos stunning killer looks, could not get their eyes off Stringer North. Whos acting resume I believe they are quite fond of.
Whilst this was going on in the back line, Cassius Clay was busy showing Sonny Liston how to sting like a Bee. In what was a once only display of his boxing wrath, the child eater Conan displayed for the crowd how his stories of Power and Heroics were not only limited to comic books. Some would say this would bear reminder to all others how brutal and unforgiving Clay Conan can be, however the majority will see this mark as a sign of forgiveness and restraint. Thats all that was needed for clay to demonstrate that he is the greatest.
The Clubbies ended up winning 100pts even.

Thanks must go out to Buster, who after Greeny palming off the report to smasher, had it palmed off to him, with an hour to produce. That he did. Having owed smasher a favour, he gladly did so. He now only hopes that smasher will deliver on his word and get buster a job or at the very least a beer after the game.
